Discover Ospedaletti, an elegant seaside village on the Riviera dei Fiori, where history, nature and the glamour of the Belle Époque come together in a delightful walking tour. The guided visit begins along the scenic seafront promenade, created on the route of the former railway line, before continuing into the charming historic centre to visit its two churches. From here, the tour climbs towards the Via Aurelia, following the elegant promenade built at the end of the 19th century. Walking among refined villas and historic buildings, we reach the site of Italy's first casino, while retracing the stories of the distinguished personalities who spent time in this enchanting corner of the Riviera. Among them were the writer Katherine Mansfield, the musician Fausto Papetti, the renowned tenor Francesco Tamagno, and Empress Zita of Austria. The tour continues through the Municipal Park, a peaceful green oasis shaded by majestic eucalyptus trees, palm trees and centuries-old specimens, before ending at the former railway station, where Italy's very first flower market was established. Throughout the tour, historical photographs illustrate Ospedaletti's transformation between the late 19th and early 20th centuries, allowing visitors to relive the elegance and atmosphere of its Belle Époque.
