Designed for beginner and intermediate riders, Flow Trails & Taste Liguria offers the perfect balance between active adventure and authentic local experiences. Each day combines guided rides along flowing trails, scenic ridge roads and easy natural singletracks with carefully selected cultural and culinary activities. From wine and extra virgin olive oil tastings to traditional Ligurian cooking classes, visits to local farms and markets, and relaxing moments in charming medieval villages, every experience invites you to discover Liguria with all your senses.

Throughout the week, you will be accompanied by a certified Swiss Cycling MTB Guide, who will be your point of reference for the entire holiday, together with an experienced local Italian MTB guide with in-depth knowledge of the trails, the landscape, and the traditions of the Western Ligurian Riviera. Together they ensure professionally guided rides, routes tailored to the group's abilities, expert riding advice, and a genuine immersion into the culture and lifestyle of the region.

An E-MTB experience created for riders who want to improve their bike handling skills, enjoy flowing and scenic trails, and experience an active holiday that combines great riding, nature, authentic local culture, and the outstanding flavours of Liguria in one of the Mediterranean's most fascinating destinations.

• PROGRAM

  DAY 1 – WELCOME TO LIGURIA

  Arrival in Liguria and check-in at Hotel Bellavista in San Bartolomeo al Mare. Welcome aperitif, introduction to the week's programme, and bike check to ensure everyone is ready for the upcoming rides.

  DAY 2 – VALLORIA & PESTO COOKING CLASS

  The morning ride takes us through the beautiful Prino Valley to the charming village of Valloria, following scenic routes that showcase the beauty of the Ligurian landscape.  In the afternoon, we immerse ourselves in the region's culinary traditions with a hands-on pesto cooking class, where you'll learn how to prepare Liguria's most iconic sauce using fresh local ingredients.

  DAY 3 – PIEVE DI TECO & WINE TASTING

  Today's ride explores the Arroscia Valley, cycling through rolling hills, picturesque villages and unspoilt countryside. We visit the historic town of Pieve di Teco, renowned for its elegant arcades and relaxed, authentic atmosphere. In the afternoon, we head to a local winery for a guided wine tasting, offering the perfect opportunity to discover the flavours and winemaking traditions of Liguria.

  DAY 4 – PANORAMIC TRAIL AROUND DIANO ARENTINO

  A scenic ride through the hills surrounding Diano Arentino, passing small hamlets, peaceful countryside and breathtaking Ligurian landscapes, where every turn reveals a new panoramic view. The afternoon is yours to enjoy at your own pace, whether relaxing on the beach or exploring San Bartolomeo al Mare and its beautiful seaside promenade.

  DAY 5 – RIVIERA DEI FIORI CYCLE PATH, CIPRESSA & PASTA COOKING CLASS

  Starting from San Bartolomeo al Mare, we follow the famous Riviera dei Fiori Cycle Path along the Ligurian coast. A detour to the village of Cipressa leads us onto easy MTB trails winding through olive groves and gentle hills, rewarded with spectacular views over the Mediterranean. In the afternoon, we return to the kitchen for another authentic culinary experience, learning how to prepare fresh homemade pasta. A relaxed and enjoyable activity that brings the group together while discovering the traditions of Italian cuisine.

  DAY 6 – CERVO & OLIVE GROVE EXPERIENCE

  Today's ride follows the coastline between Cervo and San Bartolomeo al Mare. Wandering through narrow medieval alleyways, stone houses and historic squares, we experience the authentic atmosphere of one of Liguria's most beautiful villages, where every corner tells a story. In the afternoon, we visit a traditional olive grove, where we discover the secrets behind the production of high-quality extra virgin olive oil before enjoying a guided tasting to end the day with one of Liguria's finest local specialities.

  DAY 7 – COASTAL RIDE & LOCAL MARKET

  Our final ride takes us to Sanremo, following a scenic route that perfectly captures the essence of Liguria: sunshine, the Mediterranean Sea and timeless beauty. In the afternoon, we experience local life with a visit to the traditional market, where colourful stalls offer fresh produce, regional delicacies and handcrafted products. As the sun sets, we gather for a farewell dinner at a local restaurant—the perfect opportunity to celebrate the week together, sharing stories, memories and the unforgettable experiences of our Ligurian adventure.

  DAY 8 – ARRIVEDERCI, LIGURIA!

  One last breakfast together before check-out and our final goodbyes, taking home unforgettable memories of a week spent riding, exploring and experiencing the authentic spirit of Liguria.

• USEFUL INFORMATION

  It is possible to book either the first 3 nights or the last 4 nights of the tour. In the first option, the programme ends after the third night, on Tuesday, with a final cycling tour. The 4-night programme begins on Tuesday with a welcome event in the afternoon.
