WESTERN LIGURIAN RIVIERA: DISCOVERING SMALL VILLAGES, NATURE, TRADITIONS, ART, AND LOCAL CUISINE WHILE CYCLING.

Spend one week with daily bike rides through ancient olive groves, discovering art, history, seaside cities, and small villages. Explore the territory and enjoy unique experiences while challenging yourself on the bike, with guided tours, traditional cuisine and swims in the sea.

DAY 1 - WELCOME TO LIGURIA (Bordighera)

Independent arrival in the early afternoon and room check-in.

A short warm-up ride around the city to discover the seafront, followed by an aperitivo and the presentation of the guide and the program.

DAY 2 - SANREMO AND THE CICLABILE DEI FIORI (Sanremo, Bussana Vecchia, Arma di Taggia, Ospedaletti) approx. 32 km / 500 m elevation gain

A varied route connecting the charming city of Sanremo, the suggestive artists' village of Bussana Vecchia, and the unmissable seaside cycle path. Aperitivo along the cycle path.

DAY 3 - DOLCEACQUA AND ROSSESE WINE (Alta via dei Monti Liguri, Camporosso) approx. 37 km / 500 m elevation gain

A panoramic itinerary along cycle paths and stunning Ligurian roads. Great views stretching all the way to the Alps, passing through vineyards and the beautiful medieval village of Dolceacqua. Wine tasting of Rossese and traditional local products.

DAY 4 - AUTHENTIC INLAND WITH A SEA VIEW (Sasso, Seborga, Vallebona) approx. 37 km / 550 m elevation gain

Forget the cycle paths as we explore the famous Principality of Seborga and the village of Vallebona. These sun-kissed villages, set in a beautiful valley, will surprise you with their peaceful atmosphere and architectural beauty. Afternoon at the beach? Traditional lunch in a local trattoria.

DAY 5 - A GLIMPSE BEYOND THE BORDER (Ventimiglia, Hanbury, Menton) approx. 35 km / 400 m elevation gain

Starting along the seafront, we reach the ancient settlement of Albintimilium, then continue to the French border to discover the elegant city of Menton. Guided visit to the Hanbury Botanical Gardens.

DAY 6 - ACROSS THE WHOLE PROVINCE FROM EAST TO WEST (Cervo, Imperia and the seaside villages) approx. 60 km / 100 m elevation gain

Starting from San Bartolomeo, we visit Cervo and its beauties before reaching Imperia, the home of olive oil, along the seaside cycle path. Continuing west along the coast and the cycle path towards the sunset, we go back to Bordighera. Olive oil tasting and visit to the Olive Museum.

DAY 7 - THE FRENCH RIVIERA (Nice, Monte Carlo) approx. 40 km / 400 m elevation gain

After reaching eastern Nice by bus, we start riding along the Promenade des Anglais towards Monte Carlo. One of the most suggestive coastal roads will lead you to the incredible Principality of Monaco. Packed lunch.

DAY 8 - GOODBYE (Bordighera)

Breakfast and departure.

Accommodation for a total of 6 nights in guesthouses or 2/3-star hotels. Double bedrooms with private bathroom and daily breakfast.
Dinner in the guesthouse/hotel or in a local typical restaurant (dinner usually consists of 3 courses - main course, second course, and dessert - beverages not included).
Daily luggage transfer from one accommodation to the next.
Boat ride on the last day (Portovenere - La Spezia).
Entrance fee to the Cinque Terre National Park.

All hotels/guesthouses offered are small, family-run and locally owned properties. Therefore, itinerary changes may occur, as well as alternative accommodation in case of lack of availability.

During the winter months, from November to February, most of the accommodations included in the program may be closed. We will do our best to arrange alternative solutions also for requests during this period.
