Starting from the village of Airole, a hidden gem in the Roya Valley awarded the prestigious Orange Flag by the Italian Touring Club, we travel by minivan along a scenic mountain road winding through forests and olive groves until we reach a true paradise: the A Trincea vineyard, perched at 600 meters above sea level.

The Masala family has turned a lifelong dream into reality through an extraordinary effort. Over the years, they patiently built more than 25 kilometers of traditional dry-stone walls and planted 70,000 vines across the hillside. Today they warmly welcome visitors to this spectacular natural amphitheater, where breathtaking 360-degree views stretch from the snow-capped Maritime Alps to the Mediterranean Sea. Surrounded by Mediterranean vegetation, fruit trees, lavender fields, and buzzing bees, this unspoiled environment reflects a simple philosophy: cultivating the land while respecting nature and its rhythms.

It is here that Roccese Wine is produced in its white, rosé, and red expressions, crafted exclusively from native grape varieties.

After a guided walk through the terraced vineyards and the fragrant Mediterranean landscape, discovering a vineyard that has even been recognized by UNESCO for its contribution to landscape restoration, guests will enjoy a wine tasting on the panoramic terrace. The tasting is accompanied by traditional Ligurian specialties lovingly prepared by Emilia, in a setting unlike any other, creating an unforgettable experience that engages all the senses.
